We are currently recruiting for a Light Vehicle Mechanic

WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A Light Vehicle Mechanic

Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours per Week

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team, maintaining and servicing our fleet of modern arboricultural vehicles and specialist plant machinery. You will work alongside experienced technicians to ensure our equipment remains safe, reliable, and ready for operational use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the workshop team with day-to-day operations.
  • Carry out repairs and routine maintenance across our fleet, including:
  • Specialist arboricultural vehicles
  • Timberwolf chippers
  • Valtra forestry tractors
  • Excavators
  • Whole tree chippers
  • MEWPs and recycling equipment
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out routine servicing.
  • Maintain and replace tyres on vehicles and trailers across the fleet.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company safe systems of work and all relevant health & safety and legislative requirements.
  • Occasionally undertake out-of-hours or weekend work when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience working as a mechanic.
  • Technical or professional mechanical qualifications are advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team.
